2012 Website Boot Camps

FuneralNet will offer a quarterly series of “Get up to Speed” Website Boot Camps in 2012. The Boot Camps are open to any deathcare provider firm with a website, developed by FuneralNet or any other provider.

The Boot Camp learning agenda is designed to help any firm with a website to make the most use of that site in marketing their deathcare services. Topics include the following:

  • How to Stand out Online: what modern shoppers are actually looking for
  • Social Media Basics: what works, what doesn’t, and how to use Facebook
  • The 7 Business-Boosting Roles of Modern Deathcare Web Sites
  • Search Engine Optimization: simple, low cost things you can do yourself
  • Easy Content Tricks: to get high search engine rankings
  • Online Advertising: strategy and current hot-topic issues
  • Leveraging Web Analytics: increase Web site ROI and achieve business goals
  • Mobile Web Sites: what you need to know

With a full eight hours of instruction time, the Boot Camp schedule will allow FuneralNet’s experts to delve deeply into each subject. Attendees will also receive individualized consultation using their own websites as guides. In order to maintain a high level of personalized service, each Boot Camp is limited to 30 registrants.

In 2012, each Boot Camp conference will follow a similar schedule: a Wednesday evening opening reception, followed by two half days of instruction on Thursday and Friday mornings. Afternoons will be left open for registrants to enjoy surrounding attractions or attend to business back home.
